Turkey's Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK) had fined Facebook for $ 1.65 million lira, ($ 270,976) due the Data breach of photo privacy. According to Reuters
It quoted a Facebook statement from December as saying the company had detected a photo API bug that allowed third-party applications to access, To the personal photos of Facebook users.
The agency said that around 300,000 users in Turkey were affected by violating their data. And Said the API bug occurred for 12 days and Facebook not intervening in time shown there is a lack of security and technical precautions related to user privacy.
