Pregnancy-related deaths can occur a year after birth. Among 700
pregnancy-related deaths occurring in the United States every year, about
36% occur during childbirth or one week after birth, And, 31% during
pregnancy, and 33% occur one to one year after birth. According to the
report released Tuesday from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
(CDC) .

women who died during childbirth were then subjected to emergency situations
such as severe bleeding and leakage of the amniotic fluid fluid in which the
fetus lived in the bloodstream.
The study examined local data on pregnancy-related deaths over four years
and data from four years of maternal mortality review committees in 13
states.
that pregnancy-related deaths can be largely prevented by providing the
required care, timely and accurate diagnosis, and by familiarizing mothers
