Abu Dhabi Airports, in cooperation with
Etihad Airways, has announced that it will facilitate the conduct of a set of evacuation
flights for citizens from Abu Dhabi to 14 destinations, and receive
evacuation flights for citizens and residents returning to Abu Dhabi from 12
destinations, until the end of this May.
In a statement issued yesterday, Abu Dhabi Airports confirmed that the
health and safety of travelers, employees, and interested parties is a top
priority and that it continues its commitment to comply with the directives
of the Abu Dhabi government and relevant authorities, including the General
Authority of Civil Aviation, the Ministry of Health and Community Protection
and the Abu Dhabi Health Department to implement all precautionary measures
at Abu Dhabi International Airport And to ensure the smooth conduct of
flights
Abu Dhabi Airports indicated that the set of precautionary measures that it
takes includes conducting thermal examination at the entrances of travelers
and employees, PCR chain reaction tests as well as periodic risk assessments
in coordination with Etihad’s medical teams and imposing instructions for
the application of social spacing standards
Abu Dhabi Airports reported that it is continuously conducting comprehensive
sterilization operations for all its facilities using a "CoDI BOT UGV robot"
that was recently launched in cooperation with the Tawazun Fund for the
Development of Strategic Sectors.
In the wake of the suspension of travel flights to and from the UAE on March
26, Abu Dhabi International Airport facilitated a number of evacuation
flights and humanitarian flights for Emirati citizens returning to the
country in addition to providing support for departure flights for
expatriates and foreign expatriates wishing to return to their home
countries

How to book:
Before you book, you must apply for Federal Authority for Identity and
Citizenship approval through the presence service for residents of the
United Arab Emirates, available at
MoFAIC.gov.ae.
If your application is approved, you will receive your credit number from
the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, which you will have to
provide upon reservation.
When you obtain the approval of the Federal Authority for Identity and
Citizenship, you must call to book your flight to return to the United Arab
Emirates.
