Ronaldo comments on Manchester's harsh defeat against Liverpool


Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo blamed the Manchester United players, after the harsh loss of the "Red Devils" against Liverpool.


Liverpool defeated Manchester United in the two teams' match on Sunday, with a score of 5 goals, with Egyptian striker Mohamed Salah scoring three goals.


Manchester United, who has not achieved any victory in the last four games, fell to seventh place in the Premier League standings, 8 points behind leaders Chelsea.


Commenting on the match, Ronaldo, who returned to the club last summer for the second time, said on his account on Facebook : "Sometimes the result is not the one we fight for. Sometimes the score is not the one we want. And this is on us, only on us, because there’s no one else to blame."

Defender Luke Shaw, who made several defensive mistakes alongside captain Harry Maguire on Sunday, echoed Ronaldo's comments.
